Resolutions & Reflections
So it’s the beginning of a new year and I’ve decided to give blogging a go again.
I’ve kept this site for a while and haven’t really done anything with it, so I’ve decided to use it to catalog a few things I’m going to try and accomplish this year.
- Learn to play the guitar – this has been ongoing for a while, but I want to be able to call myself a competent player during this year.
- Learn a programming language – I’ve been dabbling recently in .NET with Sharepoint and I’ve also looked at Python. My goal though is to learn Objective C to create and release an app for iOS, but we’ll see how that goes!
- Take more photographs – not only this but also to learn more about photography.
Any decent ones will get posted to Flickr and shown on here. - Write more – hence this blog post (and hopefully more in the future!), but not just blogging. I’ve had the idea about writing a book for a while now, so I’d like to at least give a bit more thought to that too.
So there we are, my aims laid out in black & white. Let’s see if that gives me any more motivation to actually achieve some of them this year…
